Mt Kilimanjaro – Marangu Route

The Marangu route to Kilimanjaro’s summit, Uhuru Peak (5,895m) (19,341 ft) provides us with one of Africa’s greatest challenges. The Marangu route starts in the beautiful Montane Forest of Kilimanjaro’s lower slopes and finishes in the moonscape environment that surrounds the summit. The Marangu route is ideal for large groups and provides comfortable mountain huts at every overnight stop. Being on one of the more populated routes it also provides us with valuable extra safety measures and to improve every member of the group’s chances of reaching the summit, an acclimatisation day is included in the itinerary.
