Island Peak

The Himalaya’s is considered the ‘Holy Grail’ of Mountaineering. An expedition to this great land can be treated as a pilgrimage that mountaineers and avid trekkers must experience at some point in their lifetime.

This Expedition is a 16 day round trip from Kathmandu. The trek starts in Lukla and follows the Khumbu Valley stopping off in mountain villages and you stay in comfortable tea houses. One day 6 the trek then veers off the Khumbu Valley and follows the Imje Valley up to the base camp, which is a temporary tented camp.

The climb itself is said to be a great starting point when it comes to Himalayan mountain expeditions, including glacial travel, moderate snow and ice climbing while ascending to a max height of 6,189 meters
