The Himalaya’s is considered the ‘Holy Grail’ of Mountaineering. An expedition to this great land can be treated as a pilgrimage that mountaineers and avid trekkers must experience at some point in their lifetime.
This Expedition is a 16 day round trip from Kathmandu. The trek starts in Lukla and follows the Khumbu Valley stopping off in mountain villages and you stay in comfortable tea houses. One day 6 the trek then veers off the Khumbu Valley and follows the Imje Valley up to the base camp, which is a temporary tented camp.
The climb itself is said to be a great starting point when it comes to Himalayan mountain expeditions, including glacial travel, moderate snow and ice climbing while ascending to a max height of 6,189 meters

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2850m) and Trek to Phakding (2656m) – 3 hrs. walk
Day 03: Trek to Namche (3450m) – 5/6 hrs. walk
Day 04: Rest day in Namche for acclimatization
Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (3867m) – 5/ 6 hrs. walk
Day 06: Trek to Pheriche (4252m) -5/ 6 hrs.
Day 07: Trek to Chukkung (4730m) â€“ 4/ 5 hrs.
Day 08: Climb Chukkung Ri (5550m), Chukkung (4730m) – 6 hrs. walk
Day 09: Trek to Island Peak Base Camp (4970m), Training – 3hrs walk
Day 10: Preparation/ Summit day (6189m) – 10/ 12 hrs. climb
Day 11: Contingency day, Chukkung (4730m) -3 hrs. walk
Day 12: Trek back to Pangboche (3985m) – 4/ 5 hrs. walk
Day 13: Trek back to Namche (3450m) – 5/ 6 hrs. walk
Day 14: Trek back to Lukla (2850m) – 6/ 7 walk
